Gone - 52 ft Statenyacht wood steel sail-motor $198 (Winchester Bay OR)
I suspect this is a typo but here is the listing....
52 ft Statenyacht wood & steel sail-motor - $198
The Roraldo II is an 1880-1900 Dutch sailing vessel built in the Oregon, USA and would make a great Live aboard or Charter Vessel. The Roraldo II is not a replica it is an original Dutch Statenyacht.
(Roraldo I) was a 25 ft sailboat built (1950's) in Gouda, Holland. Sailed it around The Netherlands with his family and then sold it (1960) to move to the United States.
He built 52ft RORALDO II in Eugene, Oregon and in 1986 had it transported to the Oregon Coast and lived on it for over 20 years. Having the responsibility of taking care of her since my father's passing I have been cleaning, organizing & making an inventory of the many organized numbered containers that are in the engine room.
This boat is an Old World TREASURE and needs to be SEEN to really appreciate the beautiful and roomy cabins. She needs an owner who appreciates a beautiful wood boat and the craftsmanship that went into her and to be able to finish the work that is needed. She needs her decks fixed, outside back cabin needs new wood and a new mast. The finished boat has a $600,000 + price quoted by the surveyor. Approximate cost for completion about $100.000.00. I would do it if I had the money. The hull had extensive work done last year. You will not find another boat like this one!!
Since this is an ongoing project I will be posting new photos as they come up. I have included at the end of the series old photos of the RORALDO II when she was in her prime and a photo of the 25' Roraldo I in Holland.
