Free 1957 Danish Botved Coronet BOAT 16'

THIS PROJECT NEEDS SOMEONE WITH WOODWORKING SKILLS AND A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF FIBERGLASS.

THIS IS A PROJECT BOAT.

It is a plywood and frame hull needing an outer layer of glass to be replaced.

It also needs NUMEROUS minor repairs.

This is an EXTREMELY SEAWORTHY AND RARE VESSEL.

It was designed to handle up to 2 -50 hp. outboard motors of the day.
The pix show it with the fiberglass having been removed, ready for restoration.
It needs a capable carpenter who wants to have an incredible lightweight, strong, seaworthy, roomy, high freeboard, dry boat, with huge storage capacity.
I will tow it to your location and help block it up with you.

I have lots of literature including local access to the son of the naval architect (Richard Cole), who designed it in the first place for Ole Botved, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

He has many stories and leads for info about this extremely rare and well designed and built vessel.
